WINDOWS TOOLS

This function is sixth in the left panel of the PC Optimizer Pro GUI. When you click Windows Tools buttons, you see a page with the following options:

Device Manager:
Click this option and see the "Device Manager" Window appear. Device Manager shows a graphical view of the hardware that is installed on your computer. Here you can update the drivers (or software) for hardware devices, change your PC's hardware settings, and troubleshoot problems. Use this option carefully as wrong alteration may damage your system.

Disk Defragmenter:
When you click this option, the "Disk Defragmenter" window appears. This window shows you the capacity and the availability, of free space in different volume of your hard disk. Select one particular volume. Then, click the "Analyze" button to know the exact "disk- usage" figures. Now, click the Defragment button to consolidate fragmented files and folders of the selected volume.

System properties:
When you click this option and the "System Properties" window appears. System Properties is a tool that lets you view and change system properties on a remote computer or a local computer.

Control Panel:
When you click this option, the Control Panel window appears. This window shows different tools that let a user customize their system.

Performance Monitor:
When you click When you click this option, the administrative tool called "Performance" appears. This tool is used to collect and view real-time data about memory, disk, processor, network, and other activity in a graph, histogram, or report form.

Windows Updates:
When you click this option, the "Automatic Updates" window appears. Through this tool, Windows can regularly check for automatic updates and install them for the user. When you turn on Automatic Updates, Windows routinely checks the Windows Update Web site for high-priority updates that can help protect your computer from the latest viruses and other security threats.

Windows Security Center:
When you click this option, the "Windows Security Center" Window appears. Here you can determine security settings of Windows which includes Firewall, Automatic Updates and Virus Protection.
